holy grail beauty products
We decided to come up with a tried and true list of beauty products. These are not only tested and loved, but most of these we have been buying and re-buying for years. Many of these items we have been screaming from the rooftops about and that is why we both use about 80% of the list. Links and descriptions below!
Tan-Luxe tan drops - Sam has been using these for several months now. The concept of mixing in your tanner with your lotion is fantastic! You just take the eye dropped and put about 5 drops in with each handful of lotion you grab. I only have the face version of this and it has not caused me to break out. It is a very natural glow without that awful fake tan smell.
Estee Lauder Double-Wear Foundation - Sam's #1 pick for makeup if you are the type of person that loves a full coverage foundation. This has been the only foundation that can last all day and not feel cakey. Color is ivory beige and it lasts about 3 months. Buy when it goes on sale at Nordstrom!
Kiehls Midnight Recovery Oil - This is a recent try for Sam after receiving a sample with a Sephora purchase. This stuff is a magic elixir and is a great nighttime oil. It feels like a super expensive oil, not sure how to describe it but it is so thin and makes your skin feel so smooth once it dries.
Stila eyeliner - After trying to many different eyeliners that run or fade throughout the day this one is unmatched and one of sam's regular purchases.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer - A little bit goes a long way! This stuff is great for covering up dark under eye circles or even that stubborn pimple! We have both purchased this a few times and love it!
Kiehls Creme De Corps - This product is marketed as a non-greasy lotion and it is exactly that. It has no scent at the same time while having the best scent. It will last all day because it is such a thick body butter.
L'Oreal Mascara Primer - This stuff is inexpensive and makes such a difference! Your mascara will go on smoother, last longer, and be more effective! Definitely recommend trying it out!
L'Oreal Mascara - Loving this mascara for an amazing budget buy. It really works at lengthening and does not fall off or smudge during the day.
Bio Oil - The best oil for scars, stretch marks or dry skin! A little goes a long way and a bottle of it lasts for a really long time! You can definitely tell a difference in your skin if you skip a day using it.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Rose - This is definitely a more expensive lip color but it's the best! It's moisturizing, doesn't dry out your lips and leaves you with a soft tinted lip that looks semi natural and healthy!
Beauty Counter Eye Cream - A great basic clean ingredient eye cream. It's makes your eye area look more awake! (also, we do not sell nor do we want to sell beauty counter)
Thayer's Witch Hazel Toner - a great toner for the price! After trying more expensive brands, this is always better. Even great for people with dry skin, because it does not dry your skin out!
