simple fall decorations
Fall is my favorite season and I usually start decorating way before we turn the clocks back an hour. I thought I would share what I usually do for the house! I have a growing collection of fake pumpkins that I love to get out and then each year I go to Lynd's Fruit Farm in the fall to get a large collection of medium pumpkins for the front porch and small white pumpkins for inside.
The best part about fall is getting our giant fur blanket out. This faux fur throw is similar to what we have from Frontgate.
I scored the below metal pumpkin at the Circleville Pumpkin Show this year for $15! The fake greyhound stays out all year long.
Most of these fake pumpkins were from Walmart for $5 for the set and the wool pumpkins were also a Pumpkin Show find from this year. Here is a link to the wool pumpkin.
I have pumpkins in the kitchen as well! This Staub dutch oven and these mini pumpkin crocks are perfect for cooking in, especially at Thanksgiving.
Our front porch is quite the assorted mix and I need to get a new wreath, but we love our gas can pumpkin! The stacked pumpkins outside are also from Lynds!. Zach put up hay bails and corn stalks all along our fence line as well.
White pumpkins everywhere of course. Our here for the boos sign is perfect for Halloween and we have matching wine glasses.
This Wine Cork pumpkin DIY was so much fun and I'm going to make them as gifts next year. Took about 10 minutes with an orange stamp and hot melt glue. Instead of painting each cork orange, I left some the color stained from red wine.
Less than a month until we get to decorate for Christmas!
