chicago bachelorette guide

Last weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Chicago for my friends bachelorette. I didn't plan any of this weekend, but thought it was so well done I had to share! When you live in Ohio, top options for bachelorette weekends are: Nashville, Chicago, Miami, or closer towns like Pittsburgh or Put In Bay. All of the ladies I went with lived in South Bend, IN so Chicago was a great close choice. I found a flight in for $172 which was amazing and well worth saving myself the 5.5 hour drive both ways.

I flew in Friday and the amazingly planned scheduled was below. I flew out Sunday morning pretty early. I got these cute embroidered underwear for the bride and she loved them!

Friday Brunch: Hampton Social - This restaurant was adorable and perfect for brunch! Rose and Frose were their special and they even had doughuts and waffles!

Rooftop Bars: LondonHouse & Cindys - Both of these bars had the most gorgeous view of the city and were open air. Highly recommend!

Chicago bachelorette

Hotel: Palmer House - This hotel was gorgeous with old character and right in the middle of everything. The check in process was a pain and took us 2 hours, but luckily we sent the bride away for a blow out so she didn't have to see any of that.

Dinner & Dancing: Joy District - We bought a package that got us all dinner and unlimited drinks for 2 hours and then went up to the rooftop for dancing later. Highly recommend this place! We had the drinks and dinner package, but I have heard without that it is fairly expensive.

Saturday:

Boating on Lake Michigan with Chicago Yacht Club - This was by far the best thing we did on the trip. We begged our captains to keep us out because we could have stayed out on the boat all night. We left at noon and were headed to the Play Pen but the water was rough so we opted to dock our two boats together and party by ourselves. We had 15 people in our group so it was so much fun. The boats were huge and you could sit in the back or walk to the front of the boat. They had lily pad floats off the back so you could get in the water.

You can see here that the maid of honors got us tattoos of the groom's face. We thought it was hilarious!

Saturday Dinner: The Happy Camper - Our group got to rent the airstream pictured below inside the restaurant. For $60 we got unlimited appetizers, pizza and drinks!

Dancing to follow this night! I only have videos of this and not pictures!

We had the most amazing time in Chicago! Message me with any questions!
