I'm trying to get back into a work out rhythm, what are your favorite ways to work out?

Karissa: I LOVE Barre classes, I always feel so great after them! They can be pretty pricey so I love to use Class Pass- you can try different classes all over from yoga to spin and it's usually cheaper than trying classes through the studio! (Click here for $30 off :))

Sam: My favorite ways are biking or running outside! I have been starting to get up at 5:30 to run in the mornings and it is so great to jump start my whole day. But realistically I'm only able to do that twice a week because I love hitting snooze. My other favorite workout is warming up on my spin bike for 15 minutes and then either doing this HIIT workout or this new Zumba workout channel I love.

What shampoos / conditioners do you use?

Sam: I rotate between this Kevin Murphy shampoo and this Shimmer lights. I know you are only supposed to use a purple shampoo once a week, but I like breaking the hair rules. Plus I wash my hair every day. I use this conditioner and love it!

Karissa: I'm kinda all over the place but one of my favorites is this John Frieda. But honestly use Pantene and OGX frequently too!

I got a new job and want to start packing my lunch, any suggestions for cute lunch boxes?

Karissa: I don't use a real lunch box but I loveeee this Kate Spade lunch box!

Sam: I have this Vera Bradley lunchbox and love it!

Are either of you on a diet?

Sam: Zach and I both heard of intermittent fasting around the same time about a month ago. It is not a diet, but a way of timing your eating to helps with gut health and building lean muscle which is what we are both trying to do. Long story short, it gives your body a break from constantly digesting food and keeps you in-line for not snacking at night. Zach is fasting for 16 hours and I am for 13. So since Zach is trying to gain weight his eating window is between 12:00pm and 8:00pm and he has to track and hit his macros in that time. I stop eating (+drinking wine) at 8pm and start again at 9am the next day. Then I can eat whatever I want in that time period as long as I maintain my macros (all about counting macros here). It really helps to do fasted cardio in the morning before I eat my breakfast at 9am. Also we eat/drink whatever we want on the weekends because we need some fun in our life! I would never do a diet where you were hungry or where you only ate chicken and broccoli. I am a huge proponent of finding ways to healthily cook your favorite meals and I follow the 80/20 rule. Eat healthy 80% of the time, always eat when you are hungry, and have fun eating what you want the other 20%.

Karissa: Don't get me started on diets-- I'm realllllllly against that life. I took a bajillion (ok, I'm exaggerating) nutrition classes in college and really think all foods in moderations can be OK! It's more about making small changes. If you're really trying to change your diet I'd write down everything you eat in a day along with your activity level and adjust accordingly! I got off topic but no, no diet for me :)

I'm moving into a new apartment with my fiancé and really want to re-do my bedroom bedding, any suggestions that are pretty but not too girly?

Karissa: I think stripes are a great option- I really like this bedding! But, I also think something simple like this would be gorgeous!

Sam: I'm a big fan of doing plain, classic bedding and then patterned pillow accents. Zach and I are buying parachute bedding like this when we re-do our bedroom and then a lumbar pillow like these Amber Interiors pillows with large Euro Sham pillows.

I'm headed to a bachelorette party in Miami this September and am looking for the perfect LBD, any suggestions!?

Sam: How fun! I have a bachelorette in Chicago at the end of August and I just bought this dress for $20 on final sale. I love Lulus for bachelorette dresses. You can view their full selection here.

Karissa: So jealous!! I think that this dress or this romper would be really cute!
