What we buy at costco
Zach and I shop at Costco once a month and while I originally got my membership to buy dog food, we have expanded our must have list over the last 5 years. Just like grocery shopping, I like to go in with a strict list and shop for nothing else. Zach on the other hand, will walk every aisle and try and talk me into a $600 Traeger smoker or electric toothbrushes (he won on this one). Below is a list of our regular purchases that we have on a rotation. That way, we aren't spending $300 each time.
Dog Food - Once I heard that Kirkland's brand of dog food had an A+ rating and was only $26 for a 40 lb bag I was sold. Oslo has been on on this his whole retired life with us and inhales this food.
Rice & Quinoa Packs - These little guys are pre-made rice and quinoa flavored packets that you just pop in the microwave for 90 seconds. Huge time savers and fairly healthy.
Bulk Frozen Seafood - I always pick up a 2 lb bag of shrimp for $13 and a bag of 15 salmon filets for $22. We will switch up salmon filets and tilapia loins but it is so nice to have when you have nothing left to make for dinner for the week.
Avocado Oil & Spray - $6 for the oil and $4 for a two pack of the spray. Avocado oil has a much higher smoking point (around 500 degrees) so it is great for using on our cast iron. The avocado oil spray is much better than all the chemicals in PAM.
Toilet Paper & Paper Towels - This one is a no brainer because the pricing compared to 4 rolls at the grocery for $9 and like 20 rolls for $19 at Costco is great!
Starbucks K-cups - 72 of the k-cup pods at Costco is around $29 if on sale which is a huge discount! Karissa and I both like the Pike Place flavor!
Let me know what you buy and what I am missing!
