What does your makeup routine look like in the summer?

What is a your go-to summer drink recipe?
Sam: Zach loves to make bourbon iced tea! It's just bourbon, sweet tea, and fresh fruit like oranges and limes squeezed in and as a garnish! I had the best vodka lemonade the other day at High Bank Distillery. I need to work on making it at home because it tasted like a lemonade shake up without the acid. I think this recipe looks great! To be honest my go-to honest iced red wine.
Karissa: My favorite summer alcoholic drinks are either a vodka cranberry (because I'm basic AF) or an iced tea with lemon flavored vodka! I'm also in love with the lavender blueberry lemonade from 101 Beer Kitchen-- if you're in c-bus you need to try it!
Any summer fashion trends you don't like?
Karissa: I'm not 100% on rompers.. mostly because I am too tall for them. I can get on board for almost all other trends this summer.
Sam: There is nothing I really hate but I try to stay away from crop tops because I'm not a fan of how they look on me and I'd always be pulling it down. I just ordered my first pair of paper bag shorts. I got these. So we'll see if I end up loving or hating that trend.
Sam, I saw you were kayaking this weekend. Where are the best places to go in Ohio?
My all time favorite place is still the Hocking Hills Canoe Livery because the water is moving so fast and there are so many places to stop and swim. This weekend we dropped our kayaks in on Rush Creek in Hocking Hills, right in front of my brother's cabin and had my dad pick us up downstream. This was great because there were no people around and we had the whole creek/river to ourselves. We also went to Birch Bark Canoe Livery in Urbana because we heard it was crystal clear water and it was! It was very busy and we had about 40 people on our bus upstream but it was beautiful and wooded the whole way. We are looking to check out Trapper John's soon.
Karissa, saw your post the other day about your vacation shopping finds. What are some of your favorite finds?
I found a lot of great things (went a little crazy). I love these pants from Old Navy they sit high (just under my belly button) but they are very stretchy and comfortable which I'm all about for travel-- they also come in white. I also got this dress and this dress from the Lou and Grey collection at Loft- I love dresses, especially while traveling because it's less I have to worry about (and these are sooooo soft). I also picked up this cardigan from A&F for cooler nights and maybe even the plane ride (also sooooo soft).
