I have a gala coming up-- what are some of your favorite formal dresses?
Karissa: That sounds so fun! Nordstrom has a great selection of formal dresses - I love this high-low dress, which could easily be worn again at a wedding! I love the ruffle sleeves on this dress and this classic simple dress could easily be dressed up even more with fun earrings and a cute bag!
Sam: I just did Rent the Runway for the wedding I attended this weekend and will be doing a whole post on it next week! Since you may not have an occasion to wear a formal wedding dress again I would highly recommend Rent the Runway. My favorite formal options are here and here. I'm jealous, because I would love to attend a gala in a showstopping dress!
Headed to Disney- and will be doing lots of walking, what recommendations do you have for comfy shoes that are still cute and will match everything!
Sam: My first thought would be Birkenstocks! I love my Birkenstocks but they are so water damaged I need a new pair. For some cute, comfy sandals I would recommend these and these.
Karissa: Brad and I went to Disney a few years ago and its honestly a lot of walking! I remember icing my shins at night because I didn't wear comfortable enough shoes (sperrys are cute but not for walking 12 miles lol). I would opt for a comfy pair of sneaks like this pair or this pair! Also a pair of comfortable sandals to change into for dinner or a post-thunderstorm would be great to pack as well!
What is your opinion on buying knock-off designer bags?
Karissa: I'd personally rather have a better quality bag than a bag that is supposed to look high-end I think there are some great dupes out there that are still high quality though! I'd do your research- if you love it and are okay with a knock-off than get it!!
Sam: I certainly have nothing against it but I do find it’s sometimes a waste of money. I would rather get a lookalike bag that is still good quality like this Sole Society bag is just similar looking to the classic Celine bag but not a knock off.
