Are you guys watching the royal wedding? What are your plans for it?
Sam: We are traveling to St. Paul this weekend for a family wedding so we will be watching in the hotel at 5:30 am with mimosas and room service! I am so excited to see if after missing Princess Kate's wedding. Since watching the Crown on Netflix I have been so interested in the Royal life.
Karissa: I will definitely be watching! I am not much of a morning person, but I'll be watching in bed with some coffee! I remember being in college and watching Kate's wedding with my roommate- it was amazing, I'm so excited!
What are some of your favorite nail polish colors for summer- gel or non-gel!
Karissa: Brad keeps making fun of me because I'll go get my nails done and they're like one shade different than the time before! I love OPI's funny bunny, Let's be Friends, and Libson Wants More (they're mostly all soft pink/white), Cajun Shrimp and The Thrill of Brazil are awesome reds for summer! Next time I'm going to get a more fun color like We Seafood We Eat It or I Am What I Amethyst.
Sam: I wish I had more fun summer recommendations but I love OPI's regular polish colors Taupe-less Beach, Don't Bossa Nova Me Around and Eat Mainley. I haven't tried it but OPI's Strawberry Margarita looks really fun for summer. I have been itching to try a bright yellow for summer as well.
Have either of you used Hello Fresh or Blue Apron- what are your thoughts?
Sam: I have done both! I liked Blue Apron better because I thought it was a bit more food and the recipes are really interesting. I still go to Blue Apron's website and pull their recipe cards online to make. I think the service is a great idea and would work really well for busy people. For me personally, I find that I can replicate that for much cheaper by finding the recipes online, grocery shopping once a week, and then making them on weeknights. If I have kids and I become super busy I plan on doing Blue Apron again!
Karissa: I've tried both! Brad and I loved Hello Fresh (recipes a little less exotic than Blue Apron, and Brad's pretty picky) we would probably still do it if our schedules were more in-sync! I would definitely try it out-- usually you can get your first month heavily discounted which makes it totally worth it! Also, I hear Chrissy Teigen is doing a partnership with Blue Apron so might be worth trying out this summer!
Just got the iPhoneX and am looking for another cute case, what cases do you like? Do either of you have a pop-socket or loopy case?
Karissa: I just got the iPhoneX too! I got this case and love it, I also got this case but I'm not sure if I love it (considering returning it). I have not tried a pop-socket or loopy case but I'm currently looking into a pop-socket so I stop resting my phone on my pinky! I really love Kate Spades cases- they have so many cute options! Also check out Shop-Bop they have TONS of cute cases like this lemon case and this rifle paper co case!
Sam: I love browsing the cases on Nordstrom and finding one I like and then finding on Amazon for less. Currently loving this one, this one, and I have this one and love it. I used to have a Pop socket and loved it! Brad hated it and ripped it off my phone one night. I have never tried the loopy case but would like to!
