What are some Mothers Day gift ideas?

Karissa: I think it's a great idea to plan an activity together, a manicure, shopping, brunch- something where you can spend time together! I also think flowers, candles, and bath stuff is always a nice gift for moms!

Sam: I think part of the gift for Mothers Day should be arranging a fun day for mom where she doesn't have to worry about planning activities or cooking. I either like to plan a fun brunch outing or have her over to a meal that I cook. A fun additional gift would be earrings! Depending on your mom's taste I love these from Baublebar.

What are swimwear trends for this summer?

Sam: One pieces will be HOT! I love this one from ASOS and belted one pieces are also going to be in style. Smocked tops like this are comfortable and you'll be seeing a lot of them this year. One of my favorite trends is the minimalist two piece like this.

Karissa: I agree with Sam-- it looks like the one piece is making a come back, I am loving this one (and the fact that it comes in a long size!). It looks like high wasted bikini bottoms are also back again this year- which I'm ok with, sliming and definitely more comfortable!

I see all these sales for winter clearance. What should I buy now while it is on sale?

Karissa: There are some great sales going on right now. My best advice is to not invest in anything too trendy that may be out of style by next winter. If you're wanting to invest- I'd get something like a classic winter coat like this, booties like these, or a classic style sweater like this or this.

Sam: I think early spring is the time to invest in jackets and boots that you can get some use out of now, but really save for next winter. I like this pea coat and this winter jacket on major sale. Booties like these, these, and these on sale would be perfect for all four seasons. Many retailers put items on sale to make room for the spring merchandise, but they are still great items you can wear all year.
