Where are some good places to buy swimsuits? I used to buy all mine from Victoria Secret
Sam: I'm so mad at Vickies for discontinuing their swim line! I have heard great things about buying bathing suits on Amazon and can't believe the price on this one. Target has always had some cute suits and I love this bandeau look. For a higher quality bikini I would splurge for one on Billabong.
Karissa: I got a bathing suit from Aerie last year and loved it- they have so many different styles to complement any body type (side note: I also LOVE that they use unedited real women to model). I was actually at the mall yesterday and stores like Abercrombie and Express had some cute swim options that might be worth checking out!
What are your holy grail makeup products that you always re-buy?
Sam: My favorites that are worth investing in are this double wear foundation that stays on ALL DAY paired with this Hoola bronzer. Stila has the best eye liner, I have used other eye liners in the past and they run into the corners of my eyes. My favorite budget concealer that I have tried recently is Maybelline and is available here from Amazon.
Karissa: I can't stop buying the Tarte BB Tinted Moisturizer - it has just enough coverage and makes my skin look and feel healthy. I have been re-buying this L'Oreal Voluminous Primer- It really helps your mascara go on better and last longer! I love my Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip- I have the rose color but also want to try petal and berry- I haven't ran out of this yet (and I've had it over a year) but it will definitely be on my re-buy list!
Any ideas for a few items to refresh my home for spring?
Adding a new house plant is one of the best ways to refresh a room. Try getting an easy plant like snakegrass and putting the pot in a cute basket like this. Switching out your old, plastic laundry basket for a cute basket from Target like this makes all the difference. Project 62 makes reasonably priced pillows and we love to change out pillows to lighter pastel colors this time of year.
