wine down wednesday

I have a winter wedding in Cleveland, OH - any idea of how to dress cute but still warm??

Sam: There are a ton of cute long sleeve dresses right now at Express. I like to get a dress thin enough that I can still wear a jacket over it. I love this dress and this moto jacket. Then wear a chunky scrarf to stay warm. Also, no shame in wearing two coats, Cleveland is cold! I would pair a larger pea coat over my moto jacket.

Karissa: In the winter, I would definitely wear tights and boots or booties with a dress if I can! I love this dress and this dress (which is so cute, I'd be cold just to wear it) for a winter wedding. I would finish the look off with a scarf and pea coat!

I'm in a recipe rut and need a good winter soup recipe. What are some of your favorites?

Karissa: I honestly haven't tried very many soup recipies, I'm dying to try this chicken and spinach soup and this cabbage and beef soup (It reminds me of the cabbage rolls my mom and grandma make)!

Sam: I tried this recipe for Italian sausage gnocchi soup last week and it was unbelievably amazing! I would highly recommend it. I can't decide if I want an instant pot for Christmas - does anyone have one and like it?

Are you struggling with static hair? What is your solution?

Sam: I am riding the struggle bus with static hair and it drives me nuts at work! Sometimes I'll also have static on my sweater and it is immediately a day ruiner. I use this on the ends of my hair and it instantly helps!

Karissa: I noticed my hair gets really static-y when my hands are super dry and I run my fingers through my hair! I've been using a leave-in-conditioner (like this or this) after the shower and worst case scenario I will brush (or use my fingers) and use some static guard (that stuffs great!!)
