Are you guys black Friday shopping?? What will you be buying?
Karissa: I absolutely hate the black Friday crowds- so it's likely that if I shop I will do it online! I usually look through the Black-Friday ads on Thanksgiving morning and try and come up with my game plan. I need Brad to tell me what he wants for Christmas so I can try and find the best deals.. haha
Sam: Of course! I love to scout out all the deals in advance and plan out my gift purchases. I usually never leave the house for Black Friday shopping because it is chaos, but as homeowner this year I may venture out to Home Depot. I usually like to get the bulk of my Christmas gifts, like electronics on Black Friday. I'll be watching sales at Target (for electronics), LL Bean, Patagonia, and we are going to watch World Market for our chandelier to go on sale.
I'm heading to a Christmas party in December- I'd like to bring a gift for the hostess, any ideas?
Sam: I would go with something this for the wine lover or a candle like this. I also love the idea of bringing a gift for the hostess' dog as well! Something like this for the doggo to enjoy.
Karissa: I would go with a nice bottle of wine wrapped in a fur bag like this one. If they don't drink or you want to go a different route I think a candle is a great option-- I love that you can personalize this one from Yankee Candle!!
In need of cute winter running clothes- any suggestions?!
Karissa: I have been awful at getting my self to run - I have zero motivation but if I do run outside in the winter I love to layer up. I was at Dicks Sporting Goods the other day and saw this top and these pants which I think are really cute-- I've had great success in the past with Nike running clothes.
Sam: I am the worst at dressing cute while running! Karissa and Bradley saw me out running the other day and I was wearing a red headband with a bright pink shirt, and usually I wear Zachs old clothes. You can't go wrong with investing in some lululemon pieces. The shirts and leggings I have from them, I have worn for years! This is my favorite shirt and these are my favorite leggings. Wait for their clothes to go on sale in the "We made too much" section.
Headed to my boyfriends parents house during the holidays- I'd like to bring them a gift, help!!
Sam: Flowers or a candle are the way to go! Instead of going to the grocery store to buy flowers, try getting a cool vase like this from Joanna Gaines new collection and filling it with greenery from a local place like Trader Joes.
Karissa: One of my go-to's for the holidays is a personalized ornament like this one. I also love the idea of putting together a gift basket filled with cookies, candles and cookies!
I'm going to a Blue Jackets game for the first time next month-- no idea what to wear?
Karissa: Dress warm!! Even though you aren't on the ice it gets super chilly. I'm all about dressing casual for the games-- I love this sweatshirt and this tee that I would layer with a flannel.
Sam: Anytime I need some gear for a sporting event I go to Homage. I love this sweatshirt and this beanie.
