I would like to make DIY holiday gifts for my girl friends, any ideas?

Karissa: DIY is so great and personable! If you can knit-- you should definitely do something with that, because that's awesome. I'm dying to make my own sugar scrub to share with friends like this peppermint scrub!

Sam: I love doing DIY gifts for friends! In the past I have done wooden chalkboard signs, knitted scarves, and made homemade ornaments. My advice would just be to scour Pinterest until you find something that looks doable. This year I will try and tackle candle making!

I'm hosting my first Thanksgiving, any favorite or go-to recipes to share?

Sam: I am hosting our first Thanksgiving this year too, for three families! I refuse to touch the turkey so Zach will be doing that but I love this sweet potato recipe.

Karissa: I've never been in charge of a main dish or even side-dish but usually appetizers! I love these 3-ingredient cranberry brie bites. I also love this 3-ingredient crock pot bbq meatballs! Both are super easy and quick - which is necessary when you're cooking all day!

Really need to start drinking water more regularly, how do you get yourselves to drink more water?

Karissa: I always find that I drink more water when I have a cute water bottle...but seriously. I have a Swell water bottle (so many cute ones) and love it because it keeps my drink cold all day! When I have the bottle sitting in front of me on my desk or coffee table I'm definitely more inclined to drink-up!

Sam: I really try and drink a gallon of water a day, but it is a bit easier for me because I sit at a desk all day. I have this large 32 oz cup that I got from work and I find that if I fill this up 3 times a day I'll get to 96 oz before the end of the workday. Then I go home and have a couple glasses of water throughout the night and I'm set for the day!

Taking Christmas card pictures this weekend, any outfit ideas?!

Karissa: I love love love plaid... especially for Christmas cards! I think you can keep it simple with jeans and with a flannel/sweater or jeans and a cute blanket scarf! (Also Target has the cutest line of dog accessories that would be perfect for a family photo)

Sam: For Christmas card pictures I love keeping it classic with a sweater, jeans and boots. Rather than staying all matchy matchy I would have one person in a solid color that pulls from a color in the other person's pattern. If that makes sense! So if your husband is wearing plaid flannel like this, I would wear a burgundy sweater like this to coordinate!
