sam's honeymoon part 1
Zach and I just got back from our honeymoon in Jamaica at the Sandals Montego Bay. After our wedding on Friday we were so exhausted and sick we were glad to not fly out until Monday morning. Luckily we had smooth traveling and were in Jamaica by noon and able to spend the first day exploring the resort and the beach.
Everything was all inclusive so drinks, dinner, you name it was free all week! Right away we tried all the fun beach drinks like Bob Marley's, Hurricanes, and Carribbean Delights, but quickly realized the real sugar cane in the rum was going to tear up our stomachs.
The resort we stayed at was just updated and so beautiful and modern! All the younger couples that we made friends with during our stay there had just had their wedding on Saturday and were freshly married couples.

We spent most of our time at the beach rather than the pool even though it was gorgeous! Each morning our butler would have a cabana reserved for us on the beach with a cooler full of Red Stripe beer. We loved that you could order jerk chicken for lunch right on the beach.
We are pretty active people, and Zach like most guys likes to do activities on the beach so most days we were out with the crew playing beach volleyball.
Each night we had a fancy dinner out followed by drinks at the bar and night entertainment from the amazing Jamaican staff.

Tokyo Jo's was like a Japanese steakhouse style restaurant and so delicious
Each night they would decorate the bed and leave us snacks :)

Here is the resort lobby at night! Everything including the restaurants is open air and the weather was a perfect 80 degrees the whole time we were there.
