wine down wednesday

I'm in need of finding a great layering cami to wear under jackets and cardigans this fall. Any suggestions or favorites?

Karissa: I love this one from Express, this one from Loft and this one from Abercrombie- I love that they all can be worn under a jacket/cardigan or on their own if it warm or in the warmer months PLUS all can be dressed up or down!!

Sam: When looking for a layering cami, I like to get something that would pair great with a chunky sweater or a leather jacket - but also something I can wear with a strapless bra to get really dressy on its own. My favorites are this velvet one from Target and this suede looking Lush cami. For a more casual look I love these Madewell whisper tanks.

Since we have had the heat on in the house and winter is coming my hair is starting to get static and feel dry. What hair masks or deep conditioner would work for this?

Sam: The worst time of the year for your hair! Mine feels like straw right now and I have been doing nothing since I know I'm cutting it all off in a couple weeks. I need to start using this miracle mask on Sunday nights. I have heard it is one of the best hair masks. Need to start #selfcaresunday

Karissa: I definitely have had this problem too. I use this leave-in conditioner on my wet hair and it seems to help a lot! I also love to use coconut oil- I massage it into my scalp and leave it in for about 15 minutes before showering. It really makes my hair feel like new.. I may also put a small amount on the ends but typically avoid the mid section of hair because I've noticed my hair feeling extremely "greasy" after. I usually do this once a month but I'm sure it can be done more frequently!

What are some of your current favorite recipes?

Karissa: I just tried this one-pot spaghetti from Skinny Taste and I will definitely make it again! Quick, easy, and delicious (I made it on the stove-top versus the Instant Pot). I also love this (also one-pot) chili-mac! Its so good and perfect for cool months! Since it's finally starting to cool down, I've been itching to start baking again-- I'll keep you posted if I find any great recipes!

Sam: I'll be doing a post on my all-time favorite soon but lately my favorites have been these Buffalo chicken sandwiches and this one skillet chicken and veggie pot pie.
