Ok, I'm going to start this post by saying I did a poor job of capturing photos... but anyways I was in Nashville Labor Day weekend for an epic bachelorette party and thought I would share all about it!

One of my best friends from college is getting married in January and suggested we spend her bachelorette party in Nashville. We were all game- what a fun place to spend her "last fling before the ring". We (myself and the other maid-of-honor) literally spent months planning. Nashville is an extremely popular place to go for a bachelorette party and we would have about 20 girls going - so we knew we would have to make reservations as far in advance as possible.

The first night there we went on the Honky Tonk Express--- I can't recommend this enough. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend. We got a tour of Nashville, while dancing to music and drinking beverages!

After the Honky Tonk Express we got dinner at Bakersfield. Bakersfield is one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus, and we decided tacos and margaritas would be the perfect way to end our first night out!

After turning in quite early on the first night- some of the girls started their morning with some yoga! We had planned on hiring someone to lead but turns out one of the girls that joined us teaches yoga- so it was perfect! We then spent the rest of the morning on the rooftop deck of our gorgeous Airbnb soaking up the sun and just relaxing. We all got ready and headed to lunch at The Pharmacy- it's a super delicious burger/beer garden with a gorgeous outdoor eating area. The food was great, the wait was not - but, I guess that's to be expected with a group as large as ours. We had full plans of doing a scavenger hunt around Nashville after lunch, but decided to change plans and head back to the house for games and relaxation!

We played two games "the panty game" where each girl purchased a pair of undies for the bride and she had to guess who brought it! We also played the "what did the groom say" game - I asked the groom questions ahead of time and the bride had to guess what he said- it was really adorable and super funny at times!

That night we went out on Broadway - which if you aren't familiar with Nashville, its where all the bars are. There are so many to choose from but we ended up at Legends Corner, Honky Tonk Central, Acme Seed and Feed, and Tootsies. They were all great, but Acme Seed and Feed was my favorite - every level has a different vibe, and the rooftop had great music for dancing the night away!

Tips if you're planning a bachelorette in Nashville

- book far in advance!

- check out Air BNB - they're all really well decorated (which is an obvious plus in my eyes)

- kick off the weekend with the Honky Tonk Express--- you won't regret it!

- make dining reservations - we really slacked in the food department... we didn't even get BBQ!

- wear your dancing shoes!!
