What are your favorite haircare products for blondes? For brunettes?
Sam: I like to keep my hair a cool blonde color, so for me purple shampoo is a must. My favorite splurge is this one but I also love this cheaper version you can buy at any grocery store.
Karissa: I love this shampoo/conditioner from John Frieda. It is great for the summer because it subtly lightens my hair, plus it smells great!
What are your go-to 5 minute hair styles?
Karissa: I would say my hair is in a messy bun 50% of the time. I love to mix it up with a high messy bun, a low messy bun, or even half up/half down!
Sam: To be honest, most of the time I use one of these to clip my hair half up. When I want something quick and classy I go for a high, sleek bun. I use these sock buns since my hair is so thin!
If you had to pick ONE skincare item what would you pick?
Sam: It is hard to pick just one since I use about 10 but I would have to choose this retinol since it has changed the appearance of my skin so much. My top tip would be to stay moisturized and have a nightly routine that you keep consistent.
Karissa: I definitely need to up my skin care game. I could not live without a good facial moisturizer-my skin is super dry and it would be rough without one. I recently tried and am loving this one from First Aid Beauty!
If we dumped your purses, what essentials would they contain?
Sam: My purse is a mix of trash, lipstick, and tums most of the time! You'll always find my Lilly Pulitzer planner, my old fossil wallet, and my weekly meal plan / grocery list.
Karissa: Just like Sam, I also always carry around my Lilly Pulitzer planner, it helps keep me sane and on track! I almost always have a Kind bar in there too because I'm always hungry (my favorite flavors are peanut butter & strawberry and caramel almond & sea salt) . You will also find this tinted lip moisturizer in there - it is great because it has an SPF and adds color to my lips (I'm obsessed with the rose shade).
What is your favorite wine?
Karissa: I love Pinot Grigio!
Sam: You'll usually find me drinking Two Buck Chuck from Trader Joe's. I love this wine and regularly buy it by the case! My favorite type of wine is Pinor Noir and I love Acronym.
