the 4th
We can't believe the 4th of July is over already! It feels like summer just started. We had a great time celebrating America, and hope you did too! Sam spent part of the weekend on her in-laws' lake, paddle-boarding, swimming, and relaxing, while Karissa got in some much needed home improvement projects (more on that in a later post ;)). We both got together with the boys on Monday for a fun night at Red White and Boom in downtown Columbus! People watching was definitely the best part!
The streets of Uptown Westerville were lined with American flags and flowers for the holiday, as if Westerville wasn't already cute enough. Before Sam left for the lake, we decided to grab a donut at one of our favorite bakeries - Schneiders! Karissa's favorite is the creme filled with chocolate icing- so delicious!

We had an absolute blast at Pins Mechanical before heading to "Boom Central". Even though none of us could win a game of giant beer pong. There is so much to do there, plus Mikey's Late Night Slice was on site - yum!
