What curling iron/curling wand do you use?
Sam: For daily use I love this new Hot Tools iron. Keep in mind this is the one I had the horrific hair burning off accident with. If you have thin hair make sure to keep the temperature low. When I'm feeling crazy I'll curl the bottom of my hair with the regular clip iron and then want the top with this interchangeable wand.
Karissa: I have using this T3 wand (they sell it at Costco for like half the price).I got it before our trip to Europe and I've been loving it! I also have a cheap one from Ulta (that I got like 7 years ago)- its a 1-inch wand similar to this that works really well.
Looking for statement earrings to wear with my LBD on NYE, any suggestions??
Karissa: I've been loving all of J.Crew's earrings lately (there's usually always a sale too). I think that this pair or this pair would be fun for NYE and could easily be worn afterwards to a wedding or event.
Sam: I'm more of the type to wear a statement lip or sparkly dress, but I think an all black outfit with these earrings would be a knock out.
What are your favorite everyday bracelet for work or going out?
Sam: I basically only wear one bracelet ever and it is this cuffed by nano bangle. You just squeeze it tight around your wrist and then it never comes off unless you pry it off. I would love to get more, their jewelry is amazing quality and you can customize it.
Karissa: I have this one and it's very versatile! I need bracelets that I can take off because I absolutely hate sleeping with a bracelet on! I also am loving this bracelet- it would be perfect for everyday wear!
What are your Christmas plans? Do you have all your shopping done?
Karissa: I will do Christmas with my fam on Christmas Eve at my house! And then Christmas Day we will spend it with Brad's family. I am about 90% done with my shopping, and also need to head to the grocery store-- can't wait for allllll the crowds (insert eye-rolling emoji).
Sam: Per usual, we have 7 Christmas's to go to this year. Both our families are within an hour away and we have several events per family starting the 22nd. It gets exhausting but we really love spending that time with our families and all coming together. We just have to wear elastic pants and prep our stomachs for all the ham and wine! We might take a day before all the festivities start to have a nice bottle of wine and open our presents just the two of us. I think I am all done with Christmas shopping, but I'm sure there will be that inevitable person I didn't think of! Gifting lots of experience gifts this year which will be so much fun to do in the coming winter months.
