What glassware do you have in your homes? Looking to upgrade from our college logo'd water glasses.

Karissa: Honestly, we have a cabinet full of pint glasses that Brad has collected from a lot of the places we've traveled to. We have nicer glasses similar to this that we love and use everyday.

Sam: We have this set of matching rocks and highball glasses from our registry and this set of wine glasses and I love this square pair to add to the collection. We also have a random assortment since I work as a foodservice rep I can get samples from work!

What do you use to take your photos?

To be honest we mostly use Karissa's iPhone X or our husbands phones. Occasionally we'll use this Canon Rebel, but we are finding that it is out of date and the features of the new iphone are much better and more convienent.

Best place to find neutral Christmas decor? Really wanting to stick to metallics and white this year.

Sam: Me too! I don't even think I'm going to include much red. I love getting inspiration first from Pottern barn or Restoration Hardware lookbooks and then scouring stores like Big Lots or the Dollar store for look a-likes. I'm currently trying to find a cheaper version of these gorgeous mercury glass globes. I love Target's Christmas section and it is categorized by color to make it even easier! This section is called Enchanted Eve and its mostly neutral.

Karissa: Love metallics and whites! I love Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel, but buy 99% of my decor at Target. I'm loving these mercury glass trees and these gold candle holders!

What are your current home projects??

Karissa: We are currently in the process of replacing our carpet upstairs, and then we need to replace our water heater- soooo exciting (not). Hopefully we will re-do our downstairs flooring next!

Sam: Not much at the moment! We are saving up for a new couch and a bedroom set. Our next projects will be installing these industrial shelves along our whole front room wall and re-doing the hall bathroom to look like this.

Thinking about buying a house in the next year, do you have any tips!?

Sam: Don't get discouraged with how fast you see houses sell on Realtor/Zillow until you work with a realtor to get an MLS listing set up. I never realized this and once you have an MLS set up you'll know if a house goes on the market 48 hours before it even lists to the public sites. We set our 'circle' or where we wanted to be very large even though we knew it would be a smaller area that we really wanted to buy in. Another piece of advice would be to go and look at a lot of houses in person. We saw some houses that look completely renovated but some of the work was cheaply done and we would rather do the projects ourselves.

Karissa: I second everything Sam said. Look at lots of houses and even houses that you're unsure about, they may surprise you! Also, realize buying a house is so much work (the projects are never-ending) so prepare yourselves!
