Do you guys ever use coconut oil? If so, how? Hair/skin/cooking?!

Karissa: Yes, I love coconut oil! I use it as a mask for my hair to help moisturize my scalp (I apply to my scalp and ends)! I also use it as a moisturizer all over- it makes a great lip balm and make-up remover too! I haven't actually cooked with it though!

Sam: I use it mostly as a mask in my hair. I'll put it on before a bath on my ends and then leave it on and just rinse off at the end, shampooing after. I also put a huge scoop of it directly in my bath whenever my skin is dry. I got a cute glass jar with a wooden spoon attached that I leave in my bathroom. My mom uses it to cook pancakes but I have never tried!

Best ways to turn “unplug” from your phone/social media?!

Sam: This is a good one because I find even my dog hates when I am petting him while on my phone and I have seen kids react the same way! I know I need to be better about this. I hate when Zach and I are both sitting on the couch and we are on our phones instead of talking to each other. We want to start trying to leave our phones downstairs for the night so 1) we can actually read before bed and 2) we will get up when our alarms sound because we have to walk downstairs to stop them. I also want to try and set our phones down during and after dinner when we actually see each other. This holds true for going out to eat with friends and family too. Once we get that picture for tabletalk (haha) then I need to just put my phone in my purse and focus on the company around me.

Karissa: This is reallllly hard for me! I legitimately run/help run 5 instagram accounts, and with twitter, snapchat and facebook its hard for me to ever feel "caught up". I try to leave my phone at home while walking Fitz so I'm not checking up on things. I also find that if I'm reading a book I will spend less time scrolling through "the times". Anytime I try to get Brad to do a phone-less meal it always fails... but maybe some day we'll get it!

What do you use to clean your wedding rings?

Karissa: If it's really gross at home I use Dawn dish soap and a soft toothbrush! But, I'm spoiled and get free cleanings so I usually just stop in to get my ring cleaned every month or so!

Sam: I use this ultrasonic cleaner and it works great! I clean my rings once a week in these. You can also use it for your eye glasses and we all know I have a lot of those!

If you take baths, any cool products or routines you use for relaxing in the tub?

Sam: I use this scented bath salt that you can get from the grocery store but I also love Lush bath bombs! This one and this bubble bar are my favorite.

Karissa: I'm the worst at baths because I have a hard time laying there soaking for longer than 5 minutes. If I do take a bath I try to play relaxing music and use lots of candles to make my bathroom feel as spa-like as possible. I LOVE epsom salt in a bath, it could be all mental but I think it actually makes your muscles feel better!

What is the coolest gift (bday or wedding) you have ever been given?

Karissa: This is honestly the hardest question ever! Brad and I got a gorgeous hand painted wooden board with our last name, flowers, and wedding date on it, it is so unique that I love it! I got this gorgeous bracelet that belonged to my grandmother that my sister-in-law fixed and gave to me for Christmas- it's so sparkly and gorgeous that I need the perfect event to wear it. I'm sure Brad is going to read this and be mad that I didn't say something he bought me though... lol

Sam: I could list so many! The first one I can think of is not a physical gift but Zach flying out to the Netherlands when I was living there studying abroad. He surprised me by showing right up at my dorm and we got to travel to Brussels while he was there. I have really loved the homeade gifts that I have received like our hand drawn wedding guest book tree and the gorgeous tv console my brother and dad built for me.
